Każdą podróż trzeba gdzieś zacząć. Gdy mój żaglowiec wypływał z Alexiopolis, w Dreamlandzie wrzało. Konflikt między stronnikami niewybranego premiera, a właściwie każdym innym, przybierał na sile. Na mnie jednak już czas.
Jako pewnego rodzaju przewodnik po tym, gdzie aktualnie jest najciekawiej, przyjąłem ranking Daniela von Witta. Najwięcej w maju działo się w Kugarii, a ja jeszcze nigdy nie byłem na Nordacie. Chanat Kugarski był mi jak dotąd znany głównie z wojen domowych, które co jakiś czas wstrząsały krajem. Ostatnia z nich zakończyła się zaledwie 1,5 tygodnia temu. Miałem nadzieję, że do Czoczen dotrę bez większych problemów.
Morze po drodze było dość spokojne. Przez dzień dotarłem na wybrzeże Nordaty i gdy zbliżał się wieczór, na horyzoncie zobaczyłem kugarskie ogniska. W zachodzącym słońcu ukazała mi się przystań w Czoczen. Cień mojego żagla zasłonił na chwilę jurtę, która stała przy przystani.
Po zacumowaniu jachtu wyszedłem na pomost. Stała tam tablica informacyjna z podstawowymi informacjami o Chanacie Kugarskim i instruktażem dla przybyszów, jak uzyskać prawo pobytu w Kugarii. Na formularzu miałem podać swoje dane, a następnie wrzucić go do skrzynki, stojącej przed namiotem. Zrobiłem to, po czym powróciłem na statek.
Zapadł zmrok, a ja nadal siedzę na pokładzie, grając na harmonijce. Wygląda na to, że tę noc przyjdzie mi spędzić na statku. W oddali widać światła ognisk, śmiechy ludzi i coś, jakby… chrzęst łańcuchów?
